The Gallery Room
36 square metres of main floor plus a 13-square-metre mezzanine, high ceilings, daylight, a mix of industrial character and lived-in warmth. Workshops find their focus here, apéros their stage, birthdays their special setting. Whatever your event needs, we'll set it up together.
The Studio Room
33 square metres, cosier, softer, more intimate than the Gallery. Suited to brainstorming sessions, smaller trainings and family gatherings, and much loved for small wedding apéros. Same principle here: tell us what your event needs, we'll make it happen.
Occasions & catering
Workshops and trainings with in-house break catering. Seminars with lunch and our bar to close the day. Birthdays with an apéro table, warm food and croffles for dessert. Christmas dinners at the Pförti. Wedding apéros, small setting, big moment. And if your event happens elsewhere: the Croffle Bike comes to you.
From an apéro with Pförtiplättli and croffles, to a workshop day with coffee, snacks and a light lunch, to a festive dinner: our catering comes from our own kitchen and is tuned to the house. We'll discuss what your event needs in a quick call, straightforward and honest.

Which rooms can I rent at Pförtnerhaus?
Two rooms: the Gallery Room on the first floor (36 sqm main floor plus a 13 sqm mezzanine) and the Studio Room on the ground floor (33 sqm). Both with daylight and historic ambience. Tell us what you're planning and we'll recommend the right fit.
How much does the venue cost?
The price depends on room, duration, headcount and catering, so we quote individually. Send us your event's key facts via the request form and you'll receive a first quote within one to two working days.
Is catering available?
Yes, catering comes from our own kitchen, from an apéro with Pförtiplättli and croffles to a festive dinner. We'll discuss your wishes in advance and tailor the offer to your event.
What about accessibility?
The ground floor (café bar and Studio Room) is partially accessible, with a small threshold at the entrance and a WC on the ground floor. The Gallery Room on the first floor is reached by stairs only. Talk to us and we'll work out what's possible.
Can we rent the whole Pförtnerhaus exclusively?
Yes, exclusive hire is possible on selected days, typically on weekends. A wonderful setting for weddings, milestone birthdays and corporate events. Ask us via the request form.
What if I need to postpone or cancel my event?
Let us know as early as possible and we'll find a solution together, for postponements we'll look for a replacement date first. Details are set out transparently in your quote, no fine print.
